hello • 23 October 2020

New Title

A big happy Tuesday to all our loyal customers in North London!

We hope this email finds you well in what we appreciate continues to be uncertain and difficult times. Thank you as always for your ongoing support of our shop and workshops here at Stitch.

We have some very exciting news! As some of you may already know we have been very busy in the last couple of weeks as we are moving location later this week! The good news is that we are not moving very far at all, 250 yards up Green Lanes to a newly refurbished shop space at 364 Green Lanes within the Post Office building. Our last day here at 397 is this coming Thursday 8th October and then we will be reopening our doors at 364 Green Lanes on Tuesday 20th October at 10am.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind but we are utterly relishing the prospect of this new location! Our online shop can be found on our website
www.stitch.org.uk if there is anything you need in the short time we are refurbishing or please don't hesitate to get in touch by phone 07903 614726 or email hello@stitch.org.uk for anything you need.

Since Stitch launched 16 months ago the popularity and interest in all manner of crafting and sewing products and activities has gone from strength to strength and we have been so heartened by the warm welcome and support we have received in Palmers Green. Our move to more permanent premises means we can continue serving our growing community of local crafters which makes us very happy indeed and we hope it does you too!

Our classes continue as usual :) For the time being we will be running some of our classes from Saturday 10th October within the large private conservatory room at the Woodman Pub, Bourne Hill, N13. The Woodman has plenty of space and ventilation, a large car park (W9 bus route) and is a lovely venue for us.  As usual we are extremely mindful of social distancing, mask wearing and strict hygiene rules in line with current government guidelines. We will let you know soon about classes that are running in the shop too.

We hope that you are all still enjoying your crafting and sewing in whatever form it takes. We love hearing about everything you've been making in these recent times when you come into the shop and it's so uplifting to us that this unprecedented period has kept and made so many of our customers so creative and productive. It is such a shame that the Knitting & Stitching show at Alexandra Palace has had to be cancelled but we are looking forward to the digital version of the show.

Talking of stitching thank you to everyone attending our Stitching Circles on Wednesdays 11-12pm and every other Wednesday evening 7-9pm. We have just started a new charity project making 'twiddlemuffs' for elderly and dementia patients at Chase Farm hospital and would love any knitters out there to join us making our 4 inch squares. We can send you or give you a copy of the pattern we are using or come along and join us at our Stitching Circles. Our stitching circle should be returning on Wednesday 21st October in our new premises.
