Stitch Online To Keep You Crafting Through Lockdown

hello • 4 November 2020

Here for you during lockdown...

Stay Safe and Switch to Stitch! online

Having been open in our new shop home at 364 Green Lanes (within the Post Office) for only two weeks sadly we find ourselves shutting the physical doors of the shop, under government guidelines, from tomorrow Thursday 5th November. Hopefully it won't be for long....It's a difficult time for all small businesses but we are pleased to say we are very much OPEN ONLINE through our webshop, on social media and at the end of a telephone!

Whilst we take this pause, appreciating the need to lockdown to keep people safe, we take a deep breath and keep looking forwards with gratitude and appreciation of where we’ve come from and where we are going. We are so incredibly grateful of all the support our local community has shown us.

Fortunately, we are ready and well stocked with plenty of lovely seasonal fabrics, wool, haberdashery and craft kits online on our shop website at https://www.stitch.org.uk/shop so please have a browse and if you can't find what you need do call us and we will do what we can to help, we'll be very happy to hear from you :) on email hello@stitch.org.uk or phone 07903 614726.

We offer mail delivery from our website purchases or a safe CLICK AND COLLECT service from the shop, Tuesday-Saturday 11-1pm.

Of course our workshops and classes are currently postponed and we hate the disappointment this may cause. New dates will be arranged when we are allowed to do so. On the positive side of things we have already resumed our first knit and natter on Zoom today and our next session is on Thursday 12th November 11-12pm. Please email us if you would like the code and join us for some crafting and sewing company and chat. Everyone is so welcome! A special mention and thank you so much to our lovely customer Liz who has been helping us make these wonderful 'twiddlemuffs'. Please carry on making those of you who are involved and we are circulating them to a local care home.

As soon as we can reschedule our postponed classes we will do so. We hope to offer some sewing and crafting project sharing classes on Zoom, so watch this space!

We will keep sharing our ideas and projects on social media and our website. So keep being inspired and creative and please share your crafting and sewing stories with us too by email or social media. There are some wonderful kits out there including @thenaturalyarnbarns new lovely cushion and shawl and beanie kits (available on http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NaturalYarnBarn)

Stay safe, stay well, take care and please get in touch for any of your sewing and crafting needs on email hello@stitch.org.uk or phone 07903 614726.

Warmest wishes
Suzanne and the team at Stitch!
