Happy September! A new autumnal term has started. If you are looking for a fresh start September is always a good time to kick-start positively and if you are in need of some therapeutic activities we hope you'll visit us here at Stitch! to find out what we can offer. We have lots of lovely workshops coming up and hope to get more of you enjoying crafting, finding new hobbies or restarting some old ones. We offer a great range of fabrics, wool,  haberdashery and crafting kits too in our shop in Hazelwood Lane and you can also order online. We hope you can join us in the coming months as like many small businesses we need your custom to continue and truly appreciate your support.

We are very pleased to be running some more friendly, affordable, social sessions this term. Thank you Susan for starting us off with the fabulous Quilting & Patchwork Social on Thursday afternoons where you can share your patchwork and quilting projects in a fun, inspiring and welcoming environment with drinks and biscuits. We can provide sewing machines, cutting boards, scissors and rotary cutters to work with and advice.

And why not come and join Liz for an evening of sewing on Tuesdays where we encourage you to focus on altering and mending second hand or worn clothes to create something that can become a favourite once again. Turn some old jeans into a fabulous bag, add some embroidery detail to a boring sweatshirt, restyle a frumpy skirt to make it your own. Bring along anything you want to work on and share your ideas and creativity with like minded sewers in our  workspace. This is not a teaching class but advice and support with your projects will be available each week from Liz. Full details below.

Refashion & Reuse Social! 

Pat, Carol and Susan really enjoyed the Duxford Quilting Show at the weekend, it had everything a quilter needed to satisfy their passion. Less expensive and roomier than the London shows, with free parking, it was a pleasure to attend. The quilts on display were beautiful and inspirational. Looking forward to the spring show in March. And we also have the Knitting Stitching Show to look forward to next month.
