Therapeutic crafting sessions
Thank you Susan for running a thoroughly enjoyable make a keepsake box workshop last Friday. Such beautiful items and totally bespoke to keep or gift.

Susan's next project at home has been this 'crazy' patchwork- which is a method of laying down bits & pieces of fabric in a haphazard fashion and sewing or appliquéing them to a base cloth. Once covered with patches each seam is covered with decorative details and embroidery stitches. Doesn't it look great? Please let us know if you would like us to run a workshop in this.

Sashiko Workshop
There are plenty of spaces available on our Sashiko class next Saturday 25th March - such a lovely skill to learn. Tricia will be be guiding you in this artistic visible way of mending and breathing new life into garments that would otherwise be left unworn or thrown out. 

This is a class for all levels and so beginners and experienced stitchers welcome. Learn about the background to Sashiko, examples of functional and decorative use of techniques, sample demonstration and practice.

This a brilliant introduction for kids to learn to finger knit and crochet. Crochet and knitting have been proven to have therapeutic and stress relieving benefits and are a fabulous, creative hobby (no previous experience is necessary).

Learn to Make a Teddy Bear with local artist Susan Mehmet, £50.00
This is an introduction to making a teddy bear with movable joints. In this course you will learn the basics of how to sew and design a 17mm or 7 inch teddy bear from mohair fabric, glass eyes and metal movable joints.
