Good afternoon, lovely to see the sun shining at last! Another week- more new classes being launched here at Stitch!

Due to there being no bookings for our gilet waistcoat class (please do get in touch if you were interested and it was just a date you couldn’t do) we are now running two alternative classes which we hope spark your interest. These are learn to sew a simple, classic skirt and a Sewing workshop: All about sleeves In our sleeves workshop Pat will go through the anatomy of the sleeve and guide you on how to insert, gather and hem to create the sleeve that you desire. We hope you can join us so that a sleeve never gets the better of you again! And in our skirt class you will learn how to create a fitted skirt using pleats that will shape it beautifully, how to create a fitted waistband,  insert a zip fastening and finish off by neatly hemming your skirt.



WADDING IN SHOP

These chilly days are making us yearn for home made patchwork quilts. If you are in the process of making and are looking for some good quality wadding look no further than us- our Super-Soft Cotton Wadding is made from high quality ethically manufactured cotton with UltraClean carding used to ensure the removal of all impurities that may tarnish finished quilts or damage machine needles. 

Shop Wadding 

We’ve had a request for another sock making class and we are very happy to oblige. A fabulous workshop for knitters looking to extend their skills. A bit of knitting experience is needed but suitable for intermediate knitters and beyond you will learn to make a mini sock in the class and also receive a pattern for a full size version. Also don’t forget our lovely learning to knit a bow tie scarf for confident beginner knitters with Sharon Wallin coming up in February.
