Stitch! – Opening Day!

What a fantastic first day! From start to finish. We weren’t sure the shop frontage would be finished on time for our sign but up it went at 7.30am. Plenty of time to spare before we opened 🙂

Thank you to everyone who came in today to see what Stitch! Crafts & Classes is all about. Your kind words and support is what makes the hard work that has gone into preparing for opening day so worthwhile.

Thank you for all the flowers that arrived throughout the day. Some of our new customers must have wondered if we were a new florist opening in Green Lanes, N13!

A sincere thank you to the wonderful shopkeepers and cafe owners of Palmers Green who have made us feel welcome and helped us in so many different ways to settle into our new ‘home’. A special thank you to Pat Stevens, who once owned and run the very popular “Material Girl” in Cheshunt and helped us cut some lovely fat quarters with our gorgeous new materials and to Josie, from Rodwins fame of course for helping about the shop.

Our team of staff at Stitch have been truly fantastic in coming together and doing all sorts of donkey work to get us up and running. Thank you Amelia, Liz, Denise, Hattie, Christine and Helen for all your hard work! An absolute gem of a team to have on board.

Everyone at Stitch Crafts & Classes looks forward to meeting the many crafty folk of north London who are interested in what we have to offer. Do please drop by and say hello.
