Stitch is mobilising!
We are excited to announce that we are moving out into the community and will be running our workshops locally in various venues.
The economics of the rent & bills of our current fixed premises have proven to be just too challenging for us right now so we have made the decision to go mobile from the 10th May. We are seeing this as an opportunity to widen our reach and community and focus on moving forwards and spreading our love of crafting.
We will keep you posted on where our workshops will be on our website, socials & here on our newsletter. Please pop in and talk to us in the shop to hear about our plans.
Thank you as ever to all our loyal community, teachers, staff & cheerleaders for all your support in this ever choppy economic environment. Stitch celebrates our 5 year anniversary on 1st May and whilst not being in a shop is a big change we know that embracing that change means we can hopefully keep going and do what we love most - teaching crafting and inspiring others.
Please pop into the shop in the coming month, we will be having a 25% off all stock sale but you will still be able to buy online from us.
NEW WORKSHOP - CROCHET BASKETS
In the meantime we have some super workshops running at 2 Hazelwood Lane including our new Crochet baskets workshop….This class is the ideal follow-on to the Learn to Crochet Beginners workshops or for anyone who would like to learn a new technique – it is suitable for anyone with basic crochet experience. Once you can work in flat rows, it’s time to discover how to shape your crochet, making these contemporary baskets working ‘in the round’ and learning how to increase in double crochet and working the back loop.
Also please don’t forget our Sewing machine confidence boosting workshop- Make fabric book covers or fabric rolls! coming up. If you are keen to gain confidence with using a sewing machine or you may have come to a previous learn to use a sewing machine class and want to work on a next project to increase your skills join our workshop on Saturday 20th April with expert Pat and make either (or both!) a fabric book cover or a make-up brush or crochet hook roll. Turn a plain Jane into something beautiful. Beautify a plain ordinary book into something fabulous with just a few stitches.
