And we cannot wait! Not least for our Christmas Shopping Event day coming up on Saturday 18th November. Our fabulous Tuesday knit and natter community have been so generous making a selection of delightful, knitted and crocheted handmade Christmas tree decorations. Wait until you see them. These will be gifted free to every customer who spends £10 or more  shopping with us in store on Saturday 18th.

And we have our Festive Sewing: Make Your Christmas Presents Saturday 1-3pm. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to give a gift of something handmade for your nearest and dearest this Christmas?  Join us at Stitch to make a Christmas present with the wonderful Pat Stevens and help support our small business to keep us serving you sewing into the New Year and beyond. You can choose to make an infinity scarf, apron, cushion cover, make-up bag, tote bag, tea towel or pouch. Choose from one or more of these items to sew as a gift or to make for yourself or maybe you have some other ideas you’d like help with. (Christmas is a challenging time of year for our side of retail and our small business and in light of this we are offering 25% discounts on any fabrics bought on this day during the workshop to help you along.)

WORKSHOPS AT STITCH!

These beautiful “origami” decorations above can be made at a sewing  workshop being run by Susan Mehmet - Origami Christmas Wreath and individual decorations on Thursday 7th December, 6.30-9.30pm.

These decorations can be used for years to come as family heirlooms or given as gifts to the ones you love. You will be using squares and triangles of Christmas fabric folded and sewn to create origami wreaths to hang on the wall and decorations that can be used as tree ornaments, tableware, accessories or to even make garlands.

Don’t forget we have dates up for a new 2-part Beginners Crochet Saturday 9th & 16th December and also two dates for our learn to knit a spiral scarf workshop coming up in the evening on Thursday 23rd November and Friday 15th December 10.30-12.30.
