Happy Friday from Stitch! 23.09.22

Happy Friday from Stitch! 23.09.22

We hope our customers have had a good week. It has felt like a long week, in spite of the bank holiday, with all the emotion and the coverage of the historical funeral of Elizabeth II on Monday.

It was lovely to have two happy customers on Sunday completing their beginners quilting workshop with Carol, it was great to see them learning these new skills and enjoying themselves.

Talking of new skills there are still spaces on our fabulous jute weaving workshop coming up in a couple of Thursdays. This ancient, coiled technique uses jute which is a sustainable natural, earthy material. Jute woven planters make a strong container that are not only for plants. It can be used for all kinds of storage from your threads to laundry and can make a truly unique gift for someone special. In this class you will be provided all the materials you need to make a small round container that can be used however you like.
