Wow! What a week and a half! We were blown away by the response to our Community Jubilee Collage at its unveiling last Wednesday. Massive thanks and appreciation to the brilliant Jill Kipnis of https://www.inspirationalembroidery.co.uk who led our project wonderfully and sewed together the 84 pieces so magnificently to produce this beautiful piece. It looks incredible!

We are thankful and proud of all the contributions from West Grove Primary School, Broomfield Secondary, Azalea Court Care Home, St. Johns Evangelist Church, 6th Palmers Green Guides and everyone in our local stitching community.

To see the collage glinting in the brilliant sunshine at the fantastic Grovelands Platinum Picnic on Saturday was a sight to behold. So relieved it didn't rain and the collage even withstood 25 mph gusts of wind. Big thanks to Susan of Ashkim Bears for help on our stall and making sure our work of art did not blow away! Thank you Mick and all the Friends of Grovelands for organising a great event.
