Is it too early to mention Christmas? Surely not if it’s less than 60 days to go  - which it is! We hope that you may be tempted to join us at Stitch! sewing, crocheting and crafting for the festive season. If you are looking to sew a Christmas project and don’t know where to start we have a fabulous sewing workshop with Pat on Saturday 4th November where you can choose to learn to sew a patchwork table runner, a festive apron, reusable Christmas crackers or a Christmas stocking!

We are also planning a Christmas Themed Shopping Day on Saturday 18th November and we had a request to run a make your own Xmas gifts workshop (more details to come next week.) And many more Christmas workshops detailed later in our newsletter but for now has anyone else had a problem with moths?

STOP THE MOTHS!

Yikes, they’re everywhere and destroying wardrobes of clothes up and down the country I can imagine. I discovered a couple of ‘holey’ jumpers this weekend much to my dismay but with Sharon’s help and three colours from our darning wools it looks as good as new, so pleased. Can you spot the mend?



If you’ve had a similar experience with your favourite jumper or if you have  thought how nice it would be to cosy up in an evening and knit your own jumpers this November we have a Darning Workshop! to learn how to mend your favourite woollen items and a complete  Beginners Knitting (two part workshop) Saturday 11th & Saturday 25th November, 10:30-12:30.
