SUMMER IS COMING!
Happy Sunny Friday! Who saw Sewing Bee on BBC1 this week? What a brilliant start to the series - seeing contestants getting to grips with making trainers this week, beautiful sewing and complexity in the sports jackets and real ingenuity in the conversion of old netball kits, working with pleats, so clever and inspirational! Definitely worth a watch.
Talking of beautiful sewing, Pat was so impressed with the summer tops made in our workshop last Saturday. And the weather is arriving to enjoy them, hooray!
Some lovely SEWING classes coming up at Stitch from hand sewing skills, making bunting tomorrow (still time to book!) learning to sew palazzo trousers and Sashiko. Dates for making a summer skirt and embroidery coming soon!
If CROCHET is your bag we have a few places left on our 2 part beginners workshop tomorrow and we have floral hexagons coming up. We have beginners KNITTING workshop in June and learning to knit a summer Stylecraft shawl.
CRAFTING wise, we have in the evenings (over a glass of wine if you fancy it!) a macrame workshop week after next and a calligraphy class in June.
