Knitting Workshop for Beginners & Refreshers. Saturday 29th March, 11:00 - 12:30 at Holy Trinity Church, Winchmore Hill, North London, N21.

With expert knitter Kay Dudman

This class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking to refresh long lost knitting skills.

What you will learn:

- Equipment essentials: knitting needles, yarn

- Useful extras: Knitting needles, wool sewing needle, scissors, tape measure/ruler

- How to hold the yarn - important to maintain an even tension

- Casting on - starting to knit

- The knit stitch and garter stitch fabric

- Casting off - finishing a piece

- Finishing off - sewing in ends, making seams

WHAT TO BRING : A notebook and pen if you wish to jot down ideas. Needles and yarn will be provided but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them.

Can you please leave us a note to let us know if you are left or right handed.
