Knitting Workshop: Mosaic knitting, Saturday 5th April 10:30-12:00 at Holy Trinity Church, Winchmore Hill, N21.
Calling all those keen knitters out there who enjoy discovering new techniques.
Join us in Winchmore Hill and learn this beautiful technique with the talented Alison and take your knitting to the next level.
Mosaic knitting is a form of colour work where two colours are used to form a pattern but are not knitted at the same time. The two colours are knitted independently so, unlike Fair Isle knitting there are no “floats” at the back and the yarns are less likely to get tangled.
This workshop is suitable for knitters with a little experience but you do not need to be an expert.
Please bring your 4mm knitting needles. We will be providing DK yarn (and knitting needles to borrow on the day) if you do not have your own.
