Unlike traditional patchwork, where pieces are cut without a focus on exact positioning, fussy patchwork lets you “zoom in” on parts of a pattern that catch your eye, like a tiny flower, animal, or specific color.
In fussy patchwork, each patch is cut to showcase a selected element and can be arranged to create visually cohesive or whimsical designs. This makes it ideal for projects where details matter, such as Christmas decorations, where you might want a little reindeer, snowflake, or festive bauble to appear in every patch.
